 Retail Hardened Computer

The most important component in any POS system is the computer. Unlike the standard PCs used in most POS systems, the industrial computer (LC8200) used in LogicPOS is specifically designed for maximum performance and reliability operating in demanding retail and hospitality environments. The fanless design of LC8200 offers noise-free operation and prevents damage to internal components caused by dust, grease, and other external contaminants. To enhance reliability further, LC8200 eliminated all internal moving parts and plug-in cables (CF configuration). LC8200 is enclosed in an ultra compact rugged die cast case with no ventilation slots and holes. The unit supports multiple mounting options that include vertical and horizontal mounting positions on table, wall, or ceiling. LC8200 features a large compliment of POS I/O ports and runs XP PRO, XPE, WePOS, Vista, Linux, CE, and DOS operating systems.
